Ffynnon St. Beuno

Ffynnon St. Beuno

The well is said to have been used as part of a cure for children who were feeble or epileptic. Following immersion in the well, they were to be laid on the “tombstone” covered with rushes. If they slept, then the cure was a success. "Maen Beuno" or Beuno's Stone has markings reputed to be those of Beuno's fingers.

NB We do not advise drinking from any of these sources.
